Where is Little House on the Prairie Streaming?

Little House on the Prairie Streaming

I recently mentioned to my co-workers that I started a blog recapping old TV shows, including Little House on the Prairie and The Brady Bunch. One person mentioned to me that her kids had been watching Little House on COZI TV before it was dropped, but now she doesn’t know where it’s streaming. I said to myself, “Self, this is something to write about.”

And so it is. Here is where you can catch Little House on the Prairie streaming as of November 2025.

Where is Little House on the Prairie Streaming? (Subscription)

Amazon Prime Video Currently, I’m streaming Little House on the Prairie on Amazon Prime Video. Prime streaming is a perk that comes with my annual Prime account subscription, alongside free shipping, Prime Music, and other features. While the full series is included with the Prime subscription, you also have the option to purchase individual episodes or seasons if you aren’t a Prime member. Given how long seasons were back in the day, that could definitely get expensive!

Peacock As Little House on the Prairie was originally an NBC show, it makes sense that its modern streaming home is Peacock. For the price of a subscription, Peacock users can watch the entire series. After a free trial, Peacock offers both ad-supported and ad-free packages, with the ad-supported tier starting at $10.99 a month.

Apple TV You can also stream Little House on the Prairie via Apple TV, which is subscription-based. After a free trial, Apple TV costs $12.99 a month.

Where Can I Watch Little House on the Prairie for Free? (Ad-Supported)

Pluto TV: The only place I currently know of to watch Little House on the Prairie for free is Pluto TV. As someone who doesn’t subscribe to cable, Pluto is one of my favorite apps. They have both live and on-demand programming, but Little House is currently offered on a live channel. This means you can’t choose your episode, rewind, or fast forward, but you can always tune in for some classic viewing. Free is free, right?

Philo / Frndly TV (Live TV Alternatives) If you were used to watching it on a live channel like COZI TV, you can also often find it in the lineup of live-TV streaming services like Philo (which offers a 7-day free trial) or Frndly TV (which usually includes UPtv, where Little House often airs). These services operate more like cable replacements, giving you a fixed schedule of shows.

What About the Little House on the Prairie Reboot? (Update)

There is indeed a new Little House on the Prairie series coming to Netflix, which is confirmed to be an adaptation of the original Laura Ingalls Wilder books, not a remake of the 1970s TV show.

I was hoping the reboot would follow the books and the actual, true-to-life events of the Ingalls family more than the original series did, and it looks like that’s exactly what the producers are planning! The original series’ actors, like Alison Arngrim (Nellie Oleson), have confirmed it will “go back to the books” and won’t feature characters invented for the NBC show. Production officially began in Canada in June 2025, and while an exact premiere date isn’t set, we can definitely expect it to launch on Netflix in 2026.
